Speech Visuals provides a picture-based communication application designed to help people communicate using visual cards, custom communication boards, pictures, words, and text-to-speech.

We respect your privacy. The Speech Visuals iOS app has been designed to work without requiring a Speech Visuals account, login, or online profile.

1. Information We Collect

The current version of the Speech Visuals iOS app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information with Speech Visuals.

You do not need to create an account or provide your name, email address, password, phone number, or other personal information to use the app.

2. Communication Boards and Custom Cards

Speech Visuals allows users to create and customize communication boards and communication cards.

Information created inside the app, including:

• Communication boards
• Card selections
• Custom card names
• Custom spoken text
• Custom card images
• App preferences and speech settings

is stored locally on the user's device.

Speech Visuals does not upload this information to a Speech Visuals server or use it to create an online user profile.

3. Camera and Photos

Speech Visuals allows users to create personalized communication cards using pictures.

When you choose to create a custom card, the app may allow you to:

• Take a new picture using the device camera
• Select a picture from the device

Camera access is requested only when you choose to use the camera feature.

Pictures selected or captured for custom communication cards are used within Speech Visuals and stored locally on the device.

Speech Visuals does not upload or collect these pictures.

You can manage camera and photo permissions through your device settings.

4. Text-to-Speech

Speech Visuals uses Apple's built-in speech technology to speak words and phrases associated with communication cards.

Speech Visuals does not record the user's voice as part of its communication-card speech functionality.

5. Accounts and Login

The current Speech Visuals iOS app does not require a Speech Visuals account.

Users are not required to register, sign in, verify an email address, or create a password in order to use the app.

6. Analytics and Advertising

The current version of the Speech Visuals iOS app does not include third-party advertising services.

The native iOS app does not include third-party analytics SDKs, based on the current implementation.

Website Privacy

This policy primarily describes the native iOS app. When you visit speechvisuals.com, your browser and our hosting provider may process basic technical information needed to deliver the website, such as IP addresses and request logs. If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond to your inquiry. This is separate from data collection by the native app.

7. Data Sharing and Sale

The native Speech Visuals iOS app does not collect personal information for sale.

Because the current iOS app does not collect personal information through Speech Visuals servers, we do not share such information with advertisers or data brokers.

8. Children's Privacy

Speech Visuals may be used by children with the assistance or supervision of a parent, guardian, educator, caregiver, speech professional, or other responsible adult.

The current Speech Visuals iOS app does not require children or other users to provide personal information to Speech Visuals in order to use its communication features.

9. Managing Locally Stored Information

Communication boards, custom cards, pictures, and preferences created in Speech Visuals are stored locally on the user's device.

Users can manage or remove communication boards and custom cards using the controls provided inside the app.

Removing the app from the device may also remove locally stored app information, subject to Apple's device backup and restore functionality.

10. Security

Speech Visuals is designed to minimize the amount of personal information handled by Speech Visuals.

Communication content created in the current iOS app is stored locally rather than being transmitted to a Speech Visuals account or server.

Users should also use the security features available on their Apple device to protect locally stored information.

11. Future Features

Speech Visuals may introduce additional features in future versions of the app.

If a future feature changes the way personal information is collected, processed, transmitted, or shared, this Privacy Policy and the applicable App Store privacy information will be updated as appropriate.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Speech Visuals features, privacy practices, or legal requirements change.
